Taina Gee is from Tikopia, Solomon Islands and now living in capital city Honiara. Taina Gee started off with a cultural panpipe group, "Wasikanarara", in 1992.
The enchanting group consist of youths from West Arere in the Malaita province of Solomon Islands.

Taina Gee went on to joined Mapungamanu Cultural group in 1998, this time showcasing Polynesian cultures.

With the two groups he joined, he toured PNG, Fiji, Vanuatu, New Caledonia, Tahiti, Australia, New Zealand, France and England.

In 2005, Taina Gee decided to pursue his music career with pacific tunes and rhythm.
A mix of Island beat and Reggae which now has been modernized to be world renowned Island Reggae.

Today in the Solomons, Taina Gee is regarded as the one who takes his dialect (Tikopian language) to the nation.
He is reowned best Solomon Islands musician and is famous throughout the country and its surrounding pacific nations including, Papua New Guinea, New Caledonia, Vanuatu and other Polynesian countries.
He also has formed a fan based in Australia through Maqarea Music promotions. He's music videos like Riele and Sisimai are 2 of the best Solomon dance hits on YouTube.
